Which mid range DSLR / Camera should I get?

My budget is between $ 600 - $ 800 for a fully functioning camera. I'm currently stuck in what model / Brand purchase. Nikon, Canon, Olympus DSLR ... I want to but I find it a bit coarse, but I think the picture quality they ... I currently own a point and shoot, and I'm using point and shoot since I can remember .... I am very experienced with point and shoots and the camera back a $ 80 digital SLR picture quality in an item obtain. So I think it's time to invest in something more high-end, as I have much "texture" 3D pictures for art and what not. I am currently scouting PL1 the Olympus because of his size / picture quality .... Any feedback on helping me find the right camera gets Easy Points! Thanks!
