Is it easy to give an address to an IP CCTV camera and put it on the net?
I have a CCTV camera connected to my PC, I needed to give the individual IP address so that the camera is also available online (for everyone to see?) Please excuse the technical knowledge!

If you capture video from a firewire connected camcorder, the audio captured by the camcorder will be delivered via firewire, and that can be used as your audio source. On my video feed, I use the onboard mic on my lap top computer as the audio source. 3. Log on camstream. Camstream is a service that you live video stream (with audio will host) free. Registration is free, and they deliver (for free) the software you need for your video feed possible. Your video feed can be set to appear on the site camstream and on a web page on any site on the Internet. To subscribe, go to http://www.Camstreams.com/add.asp. 4. Download and install the software camstream encoder. The encoder software camstream what pushes your live video stream with sound from your computer to the web. After you camstream encoder software do the following: * Start the camstream encoder (Clicking camstream Encoder icon on your desktop). * Click "Options" and select your video input and audio input devices. Then click 'OK' and 'Live' to live. 5. Watch your video stream. When you log in camstream, they give you a link you can use to broadcast your video on their site. My link is http://bridgewater.Camstreams.com/ camstream If your encoder is set to 'live' mode, you will want to watch your video, so you can see what it looks like on the web. Note - there is a 13 seconds delay between video and live video to the Web. 6. Add the video stream to your own web pages. When you log into your account at camstream, you'll see an option 'show html embed code. If you click on this link you will camstream html required to include your web stream to any web page. Copy this code and add it to any webpage on your site. That is the whole process!
