Should requires CCTV cameras in schools to protect both teachers and students?
I feel strongly that cameras are needed, because some teachers and students can behave very badly and get away if they believe they are untouchable. My son was bullied by both staff and pupils but the school will do nothing, regardless of the fact that he has many witnesses. There are a few cameras, nobody in the classrooms, and even one incident in a corridor where there is CCTV, the school refused to even check the camera for proof! The Education Department is very little use, what can I do?
Document every incident. Make sure you date, time, location (exact location in the school), who was there as witnesses and who were the predators, what happened, who you reported the incident and their response. Take all this to a lawyer and file a civil suit for negligence or harassment or whatever the big money, make sure that teachers complain, naming each one, the client, and the Board of Education appoint the president and all other members of the board (this way they can not pass the buck IE: not my job.) and see how quickly they begin to listen to and respond to your complaints or how the school of your child's life difficult. Most lawyers no money for the first consultation and will be a matter to take on an event of the solution (which forces you they will not be a case where they feel they will lose they will not charge). What are documenting. Good Luck people like this should not be entrusted with our children and not useful. Cameras are really just for show not for use by the costs. The cameras that you refer to only be for show and no real use, except to unwanted behavior to deter.
