If the NHL were to take a break tradition?
This morning I have the TV commercial for the Winter Classic catch is held in Chicago Wrigley Field this year and it brought something in mind. Along with the camera shots showing hints of Zetterberg and Kane, Toews and Lidstrom, the music being played is baseball traditional "Take Me Out the ball ", a song played at every baseball game at every stadium in the league throughout the seventh inning stretch (one short break for those of you familiar with the game). Oh take me where the hockey players face off down the runway and the Stanley Cup is all filled up for the chaps who win the drink-now is the last film of the hockey stick and a one gigantic scream-The puck is in! The home team wins! The good ole hockey game! Chorus: repeat 3 times He shoots he scores ...
