I admit it's funny. http://www.wave3.com/global/story.asp?s=9117850 SYDNEY, Australia (AP) - Zoo officials in Australia are planning to sue the parents of a 7-year old boy who broke into a popular Outback zoo and the animals fed with a giant crocodile. Zoo director Rex Neindorf says the boy jumped a security fence, then a 30-minute killing spree, bashing several lizards to death with a rock and feeding them to a 440-pound saltwater crocodile. The boy also threw several live animals over the fences around the case of the crocodile. Neindorf says about the safety of the zoo, camera, the boy's face remains largely blank, "as he played one game." The 13 animals killed are worth more than $ 5000. Police say they are unable costs due to the age of the young people.
I think it is appalling that a child can run loose, do all forms of damage are not responsible for their actions. They know what they do when they do - so why not give them a penalty in some way. Better yet .. power of parents to do community service by cleaning the crocs housing .........!! When they are more interested in what their little Johnny is up too! J
