Cuddeback Excite Camera Review: I recently got the Cuddeback Excite Camera in the woods and gave it a few tests and for the most part I was pleased with the results I got.

The First Time Out

Excite Setting the camera is quite simple. I really do not want to spend much time on creating a camera that was simple and easy to use. The instructions are clear and the buttons and functions are easy to follow. I look the camera in a tree on a track I thought was a good amount of deer pass and left it for about three weeks before I went back and picked it up. When I look at the pictures they were pretty well. The Excite is a 2.0 megapixel camera, and the resolution is fair. There were a few shots that ended a little fuzzy, but not that much and I was pleased with the number of shots that showed well. When I still camera battery life and some space on the SD card so I could let a little longer, but I was anxious to see how they did.

The Second Time Out

This I chose a different location, away from a field that the deer were frequently published. I left it for about the same amount of time and then went out to get it. I was pretty frustrated when I returned to the images, however. There were only pictures with only a few deer over the entire SD card. I think the sensor is caused by a branch swaying in the breeze and the camera just keep taking shots. I do not know whether this was because of my internship, when the first batch was pale, but boy was that a letdown. This may be my fault if I sensitivity setting on high. I did not get a chance to test it, but next time I will lower the sensitivity of a try and see if I get better can get results.

Overall Impressions

The Excite is easy to use, and at least on my first test I found that image quality is sufficient. One thing that's really nice about this camera is that the trigger speed is really fast. For the set of shots that worked out, the only ones who were not so great were those who were a little fuzzy, but there were no missed shots because of slow trigger speed. Battery life is very good, both times I have not run out of batteries out so that's a good thing.

One thing that the camera can use an infrared flash. The conventional flash means better quality pictures, but the infrared flash ghost of the game and the other will not promote awareness of the location of the camera. I think this a good product for the price and I would buy one again.
