Has anyone converted a Canon Digital SLR to work only in infrared mode?

I own a Canon 30D and love it. I'm really in infrared photography and have an Olympus camera that works really well, takes great pics, but it is only a 4MP and the images are great, I can not really blow up a sufficiently large scale give. I am thinking of buying a used Canon Rebel, XT or XTi and have one of the companies to convert for IR use to convert. I was wondering if anyone had done this ... how it worked for you ... and cameras and tracking company that you used?

I've looked at this also .... I like a new camera and my 30D is relegated to 3rd string, I made an IR conversion. I can not offer personal experience with the IR-conversion, but I would encourage you to check lensrentals.com. They offer Canon DSLR's with IR-rental conversions, and you can try for yourself!
