I saw this on TV observation Buddhist monk "chi" into his hand ........?
and they used an infrared camera and his hand was warm in the photo and a wet cloth could produce steam! How meditation to help achieve these things? Is "chi" same as "Pran 'or life force in the Indian yoga? How rude some people, if they kept an open mind! They have to see one of these martial art shows of the Shaolin monks and the will realize they can accomplish the feets!
There is nothing magical chi. It wont. Everyone has it. Anyone can develop its capacity to increase this energy and apply in different situations, such as healing or martial arts or just from day to day life more energetic and healthy. The development can make a person very much in spite of a normal appearance. Health nuts are actually used. But development takes discipline, hence the use of meditation and other disciplines such as chi-gong, tai-chi, etc. I've lived in Asia, half of my life and many times have benefited from its use in the healing arts, acupuncture and massage. Every morning I go for a walk and see all ages, shapes and sizes to exercise, meditate, and building their chi. Together with gossip, strengthening the chi is a national pastime. Any complaints about your health and you get a good reading on the care of your chi.
