Essential Ghost Hunting Kit

New technology and Paranormal Research.

Research into the Paranormal has performed since the late part of the 19th century with the creation of the Society for Psychical Research (SPR). The society was formed by a body of distinguished colleagues including Edmund Gurney, Frederic William Henry Myers, William Fletcher Barrett, Henry Sidgwick and Edmund Dawson Rogers. The stated goal was ".... To address these varied issues without prejudice or bias of whatsoever, and in the same spirit of exact science unimpassioned research that has enabled so many problems. "

Most of the same processes in those days still used today in Ghost Research. The association would discuss witnesses, gather evidence, and keep organized accounts of each event. But in those days There were no EMF devices, audio recordings, or any other electrical equipment that you can associate with contemporary studies. The use of electronics is increasingly the way found in this area since the first pioneering days.

The first Ghost Hunter using this technology during an investigation, itself, a past employee of the SPR. Harry Price, in the 1920s, would use a movie camera and shoot pictures of ghosts, mechanical clocks were used as an indicator species of motion, and measuring items such as rope and tape, just like modern ghost hunters still use today. Much of the public were not convinced by his work and concluded he was a charlatan. However, he formed the foundation of current research that has now become.

The next meaningful indication of how technical progress could help paranormal research done in 1959 when Fred Rich Gurgenson stumbled on Electronic Voice Phenomena - while recording bird songs. He went to many EVP recordings and wrote several books on the matter. Consequently, because of this great discovery, there is a whole branch of research dedicated to the electronic voice phenomena.

From the eighties technology continue to move forward rapidly, and buyers extra cash cash in their pockets to invest in electronic equipment to perform paranormal study. Electro magnetic field strength meter available in shops, along with similar gadgets. Ghost hunting has become very popular. There are many different types of instruments that can now be used to help research in to the paranormal. There are a number of devices that I have not mentioned, including: (a) electrostatic generator, an unconventional piece of equipment that produces static electricity. (b) Tone generators, another advanced ghost hunting tool similar to the static generator in that is said to assist in the manifestation of spirits. (c) Ir motion detectors; usually used to detect motion in a vacant room.

The current popularity of the paranormal is largely due to the increasing amount of documentary and TV productions dedicated to the paranormal. Continued interest would benefit the paranormal community, if further discoveries are revealed. The main goal in paranormal research is to try to learn as much as we can about the mysterious world we live in.
