Good camera for an outdoor enthusiast?
I'm looking for a camera to take pictures while I'm hiking, fishing, hunting, etc. I have literally zero have good experience with cameras. I want a camera that the possibility of taking very good shots. I know nothing about developing my own photos, so the camera should be taken to a shop to be developed. I would also like the digital camera so I will not waste film. I have a Nikon Coolpix and now it is not enough for me. I am willing to spend $ 500 - $ 1000 now. I do not care if new, used, old, off-brand. Just something to get the job done. Thank you!
I would go with an SLR / DSLR. To correct for you, I suggest going to talk with someone in a local camera shop. Explain your needs, budget, the conditions you normally shoot, what's important to you, and hold a few models in your hands. Also, check out CNET reviews for any model you want.
