Need legal advice on neighbor suspected of killing cats.?
My wife and I have nearly 100 hectare farm. We have many cats at the site and have a whole lot of money into keeping the females and a fixed number of men. Unfortunately they still wonder and hunting the wooded areas. I've heard that Some people say that my neighbor is when they shoot them on or near to get his property. I've put some scouting cameras along the property line but have not been able to catch him in flagrante. I confronted him about the problem and he admitted that he hated cats, but I certainly was not killing them. I've often heard him shoot, usually only one shot, so I know he is not only focused practice. What can I do legally, if anything?
Legally, you can include your cat to your home. These man has a farm. He has every right to kill animals that threaten his cattle. Your cat should be included to keep them from pain property (cattle). If a coyote arrived in his barn that he does not do you a right to kill it? Of course he would. Same with a cat. They are threatening his cattle. Cats can desecrate a flock of chickens / geese / ducks within one hours. Most people continue to farm large dogs to ward off pests to the property. If he has some farm dogs, they can kill your cat.
