Taking underwater pictures?

Hey everyone! I was interested in underwater photos but I do not think my camera is waterproof [Sony Cyber Shot]. I do not want a disposable and I want a new digital or not to buy expensive housing. I know it's super cheap, but will be a solid transparent bag or two to work? Thanks in advance

I would not take the risk. Underwater you a lot of things you do not have to suffer, like water pressure. There are a few bags designed for this purpose and would be better than using random Ones, but sometimes the photos are blurry. Underwater cameras (with appropriate lighting) get expensive fast, but there are a handful of disposable cameras that are designed to go under water that I've used quite successfully in the past. Then, if you find you take enough pictures and be sure to keep the skill, you can invest in some quality equipment.
