digital infrared cameras
A standard digital camera are used with infrared lighting to take pictures at night?
using Olympus C-700 camera.
The amount of infrared light you would need would be really intense, as almost all digital cameras now (unless specifically noted that the camera) with the right filters filter out infrared sensors. The reason is that all digital sensors are innate sensative to IR, and without the filter to the photo would have a reddish hue and claims should be compensated. There are certain cameras that are better to still see IR than others, even through the filters. For example, I a Canon Powershot G6, and can actually see IR well. But to make a claim with only infrared light, I would have an IR filter to filter out everything but IR, and I would probably a long exposure, even in daylight. An IR night shot was a headache, there really is not much light of any kind around, IR or otherwise. You should have a kind of IR source. You can use your digital camera test to see how well it can see infrared pretty easy. Just use your TV remote. Point it at your camera and look at your screen while pushing buttons on your remote. Most remote controls use IR, and you'll see the small LED light on the front of the remote screen can see as the IR. I have a few websites that will hopefully below can help you.
