Is it possible to make an ordinary digital camera into an IR camera?
I know it's easy for a standard digital camera into a Near Infrared Camera by removing the IR-block filter and using an IR-pass filter (unexposed, developed film). Can something similar, but with UV do? Are CMOS or CCD's sensitive to UV-and what can be used as UV-pass filter? I'm looking for a way to do it cheaply, and with a cheap camera.
not sure what near-infrared means, but the ref below you can use a digital SLR for IR imagery
