I'm like a surveillance camera (first alert 550) and now it was dark, the photo quality is poor .. it is gray and not let anything see. the manual must be the Night Vision mode (infrared LED) to work at night, but how do I turn that light on?
HI, there is a few reasons: 1) night vision cameras, in the dark, do a grainy picture is getting, especially with cheap models .. 2) If you have a night vision camera with infrared LEDs, Check to see if they are in the dark, you see a feint red light. If you do not see, it is likely that the IR LEDs are faulty / not working 3) If you do not has IR LEDs, then the camera is unable to see anything in the dark, some light will. 4) Sorry to burst your bubble, but the camera is just not good enough Night vision for effective event, if the vision in the dark is important, get a goal made CCTV cameras, as a company we have made use of many different types of night vision cameras, the cheap or if the cameras are no special night vision CCTV cameras will always be poor results.
