James Webb Space Telescope better than Hubble?
Just curious if you've heard about this telescope is supposed to be launched in 2013. Here it is Link: http://www.jwst.nasa.gov/index.html I also tried to recall a certain combination of imaging technique X-ray images, infrared images and I think that UV images. After taking several pictures of this space with different cameras, they tune to the top of each other to create amazing images.
Surely far more superior than Hubble, which is great because Hubble has seen billions of years into the past in high resolution. They selected regions of space larger than a tennis ball or base ball and have generated many stunning images of galaxies and nebulal. So the JWST will be superior to Hubble is more than 20 years old, physically and in the design. Even with upgrades [to Hubble], a new Hubble telescope will blow out the water. I hope they do not have to start missin a rescue operation, because something was off. "In regarding the image they used for the Hubble Deep Field and Hubble Ultra Deep Field images, they used a technique called drizzling. Technical nomenclature: Variable Pixel Linear reconstruction, rehabilitation or simply linear. CCDs are used in all types of imagery directly down to inexpensive digital cameras (and expensive). The beauty of the CCDs is that they can be designed and programmed to capture almost any wavelength of light, gamma rays to radio waves.
