When I'm on an overseas base in the Air Force what I can from home?

I was wondering if I end on a base overseas, I can bring my desktop computer at home from? What other things from home okay or not okay? such as TVs, DVDs, video games, books, cameras, photos and so on.

Hi Josh, you can put anything you want as long as it does not "illegal". And you can do something within your weight allowance for your "baggage." Checked baggage The things you before you leave the ship, there for you (being on hold) until you arrive. Usually the clothes and the like. Actually, I was not crazy about things from home. Leave them at home and get new stuff in the BX or locally in the country. Almost everything you get home you can BX overseas. Not ship your laptop to the camera. Carry them with you. Be careful with some "books" you take. There will be a library on the basis. And, books weigh a lot. A small box of books ends with a weight of 40 pounds. Really, you worry too much. Are about light. Come back hard. Best wishes, Larry Smith Senior Master Sergeant, USAF (ret) First Sergeant PS Which countries are you volunteering? PPP "Boredom" R? When in a foreign country is nothing boring about it. You do not "need" things from the U.S.. Examination of the country you are lucky and live in without paying for! How can anyone be bored in Germany, England, Italy, Japan, Korea? Not coup yourself in the house or barracks. No wonder you're bored!
