underwater digital cameras cases
best digital camera for concerts / tours?
I look at buying a new digital camera, and I looked through many websites, and I'm honest, with a difficult time choosing the features I need, and those who just might be "nice to have". Below I have some of the functions I want, but not necessarily all I need. Can someone me an idea what to look for to ensure I get what I want, and maybe a few models to check? I would prefer a small camera to fit in my pocket better than 5MP ..- fast-Image Capture (important for me) or better 5x zoom (rather better ..)-decent picture quality (no need, but it would be nice -what should I be looking for video quality?)-permanent (sometimes a bit awkward, would be nice tough frame), different settings / options (in case I get more into digital photography)-tilt LCD-submerged (sounds interesting, but probably not necessary)
Shooting concerts: The camera I use is the D300 (12MP sensor) with a 24-70 mm f/2.8 in shooting on stage. (It is one of the cameras I travel with his big brother, the D3 and four lenses) For video I use a Canon XL-2 (3 to 3.1 MP sensors - Red, Green, Blue). Underwater, hopefully not in concert, I use a Nikonos 35 mm. Look at the new Olympus SW series of new Pantex for a good P & S camera that is capable to shoot under water
